membership

Girudala is a member based, charitable, not for profit organisation, guided by a community elected Board of Directors.


Membership is required to participate in our Housing Program, and we welcome new members who would like to support Girudala’s work and take part in community decision making.


Please note: You do not need to be a member to access most of our services.

Why Become a Member?

Membership allows community members to:


  • Stay connected with what is happening at Girudala
  • Attend member meetings and yarning spaces
  • Vote at Annual General Meetings
  • Help shape the future direction of Girudala

Who can apply?

Membership is open to people who meet the eligibility criteria listed on our Membership Form, applicants generally need to:


  • Reside in the Whitsunday region
  • Support the purpose and values of Girudala
  • Meet the eligibility requirements set out in the application form

How To Apply

  1.  Download the Membership Application Form.
  2. Complete the form and provide the required information
  3. Return the form to our office or email it to us.
